There’s a huge amount of events to choose from, and we’ve picked out some of the best. Whether your non-work interests run towards motorcycles, pirates or mentalist tricks, you’re sure to find something to do when you take a break from doing business. Once you hang up your suit, have your Milwaukee car service bring you to one of these exciting events:

1.) Steel Toe Tour

Calling all motorcycle enthusiasts! Have you ever wanted to be inside a motorcycle facility? Here’s your chance: this exclusive insider’s peek at the Harley Davidson brand includes admission to the official Museum and as a visit to the Harley Davidson Pilgrim Road Powertrain Operations facility. Visitors will get an up-close and personal look at the motorcycles’ construction, from the assembly line to the aluminum machining. The tour is held Wednesdays and Thursdays. You should arrive to meet your tour guide at either 9:00 a.m. or 12:15 p.m. and plan to stay for around three hours. 400 Canal St. Milwaukee, WI 53203

2.) Real Pirates

This exhibit gives visitors the chance to learn about real pirates, those swashbuckling rogues that most people nowadays associate with Jonny Depp and eyeliner. Held at the Milwaukee Public Museum, this exhibit spotlights the Whydah, one of the most powerful pirate ships of the 18th century. Originally a slave ship, the Whydah was soon conquered and refashioned as a pirate ship during the early 1700s. Nearly three centuries later it was discovered and became the first fully authenticated pirate ship to be found in U.S. territory. The exhibit runs December 14 – December 31. 800 W. Wells St. Milwaukee, WI 53233

3.) Pizza Factory Tour

Pizza is one of the most popular foods in America, yet the closest many people come to making it is heating up the ready-made, frozen versions or ordering online. Witness the art of making the perfect pizza from scratch in this guided tour of Milwaukee’s only culinary factory of it’s kind, Palermo Pizza. Foodies will learn how pizzas are prepared, see pizza-makers in action at the factory’s mezzanine level, and – of course – enjoy a slice of fresh pan pizza in Palermo’s Pizzeria & Caf. 3301 W. Canal St. 53208

4.) Designing Desire: The Cultural Effects of Marketing

Ever see old advertisements from the 1950s and laugh at how absurd they seem in light of today’s society? The change in marketing’s focus over the years will be the topic of this exhibit, held at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. Co-curator and anthropologist Katinka Hooger has collected a series of ads ranging from the post-war era to today to showcase how culture has evolved over time. This exhibit is certain to appeal to executives and business brains of all types, whether they’re in the marketing field or not. 273 East Erie Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

5.) Mind Over Milwaukee

As a New York Times writer once said, “Hide your thoughts! Marc Salem is in town!” Salem, whose specialty is in the human mind and its perception of reality, is the star of this interactive show that delves deep into the mind’s abilities. His past experience includes a position as a director of research at Sesame Street focusing on the development and nature of the mental process. Salem clearly knows a lot—perhaps he knows a little too much. Judge his capabilities for yourself at one of his evening performances at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. December 28 – December 31. Times vary. 108 E. Wells St. Milwaukee, WI 53202 Photo courtesy of Harley Davidson.
